This is to inform you that International Women’s Day is being celebrated by IGNOU Regional Centre, NOIDA on 8th March 2024. The United Nations theme for this year is “Invest in Women and Accelerate Progress”. The International Women’s Day is planned to recognize the achievements of women and their contribution to the development of the society.
IGNOU has diligently nurtured and empowered women student innovators who have established their business enterprises or startups by breaking stereotypical gender barriers. From job seekers, they have become job providers thereby contributing to an accelerated progress towards Atmanirbhar Bharat and also towards the vision of Viksit Bharat-2047.
To recognize the achievements of our women students and alumni and also to motivate others with their success stories, IGNOU Regional Centre NOIDA shall be organizing talks (in online mode) on the success stories of women students or alumni who have established their business enterprise or startups.
