This programme has been especially designed for the members of IIBF to help them acquire post-graduate qualification and upgrade their managerial skills and capabilities. The structure of MBF is similar to MBA programme. All those who complete the first eleven basic courses (PGDIM), any five Specialization courses and five integrative courses are eligible for the award of MBF. However, there is a separate set of specialization and integrative courses for MBF.

This programme consists of 21 courses in all. These 21 courses include 11 basic courses, 5 specialisation courses and 5 integrative courses, including a project course equivalent to two courses.
How to Apply
For seeking admission to MBA (Banking & Finance) Programme, a candidate is required to apply to the Regional Director concerned, in the prescribed application form with requisite fee and other documents, like the qualifying certificate of CAIIB. Admission will be offered to all the eligible candidates subject to a maximum limit mutually agreed upon between IGNOU and IIBF.
